Your guide in creating your own
HEALTHY DAILY HABITS

SELF CARE
  • Instead of watching Netflix on the couch. Consider walking or running on the treadmill while watching your favourite show at home or at the gym.

  • After a stressful day, take time to pamper yourself by combining a few drops of Lavender oil with Epsom salts in a warm bath for a relaxing experience.

  • When environmental threats are high, make sure to wash your hands with warm soapy water, several times a day. You can also slice cucumber with lemon or lime in a glass of water for a quick refreshing boost.

  • Be diligent about setting an appointment for a yearly physical with your doctor. When things feel out of balance. Consult with your health care professional just to be sure. 

TOXICITY
  • When tensions are high, diffuse Bergamot or Eucalyptus oil to promote a calm environment that will help lessen feelings of stress.

  • Give your body proper amounts of Vitamin D by spending adequate time outside every day. Consider swapping out screen time for outdoor activities by unplugging and leaving technology behind.  

  • When you feel like you can't turn your brain off at night. Rub Sandalwood or Clary Sage oil on the neck and shoulders to promote a restful night's sleep.

REST 
  • Create a set routine by going to bed each night and rising each morning at the same time.

  • Make your bed comfortable. Use it only as a place to sleep and not for activities like reading, watching television, or listening to music.

  • Enjoy daily physical activity. This will allow you to fall asleep faster and enjoy a deeper sleep.

STRESS

  • Know your limits. Taking on more than you can handle increases stress.

  • Work on time management. Create a plan for daily activities and tasks to eliminate pressure and create a sense of accomplishment.

  • Generate a support system. Share your responsibilities or your feelings with others.

  • Set aside time to relax. Find healthy ways to respond to stress by scheduling time for you.

EXERCISE
  • To start the day off right, rub a few drops of Frankincense on your head to bring added satisfaction and feelings of overall wellness.

  • Diffuse Frankincense while doing your morning yoga to bring peace and relaxation to your mourning routine. 

EAT RIGHT
  • At the beginning of the week. place cut-up fruits and vegetables in sandwich bags and keep them in the fridge at home or at work so it is easy to grab a healthy snack on-the-go.

  • Instead of turning to caffeine, you can naturally boost your energy by drinking more water, getting adequate sleep, and eating fruits, nuts, and foods that are whole-grain or high in fiber.
